Ayo Idowu

Coach Ayo Idowu originally from St Paul, Minnesota started playing the game at the age of nine and has virtually had experience at every position. Coming out of high school, (North St Paul/Woodbury) Ayo had no full-ride Division I offers and took an Academic scholarship to the University of St Thomas. Ayo went on to be a 4-year starter, All American, and help lead his school to their first-ever national championship appearance. Post-college he continued his career in the NFL, AFL, and CFL. After his playing career Ayo coached high school football in the state of Minnesota and help lead some of the best defenses in the state to three consecutive state tournaments, and one state championship.

Ayo has had the pleasure of studying, playing and coaching under some of the game's greats. Names like Dan Quinn, Ted Cottrell, Thurmond Moore, and Brandon Staley to name a few.  Ayo’s love and knowledge for the game started when he was very young, his biggest attributes are his passion and intensity. “I have always considered my self a leader on and off the field, whether it was by my play, or my ability to motivate players with my voice” Line of scrimmage has given him the ability to pass on his talent to hungry youth. “Every day I get to step on the field, regardless of what happened before it, is a good day”
